Lidia Fiabane was born in Belluno, Italy. She was the first woman to graduate as a Building Construction Technician from the Istituto Tecnico Industriale in Belluno.

She later studied Art History and Literature at the University of Milan and lived in Paris and Mexico before settling in Vienna, where she works as a freelance artist.

Her artistic practice encompasses painting, collage, objects and installations, with a particular interest in stereotypes and clichés. Her work has been exhibited internationally and is held in public and private collections.
